Mopley Pond

Mopley PondMopley Pond is a beautiful 3 acre water in the North Solent Nature Reserve.

The lake is split by three islands (one being fishable from) with a deep channel on one side and shallower ones around the back, providing some good stalking areas for the carp.

The lake is being developed as a specimen water an already holds a good head of quality sized fish of  the species listed. Stocked with Ghost, Mirror, Common and Leather Carp from 10lbs to over 20lbs, plus Crucian Carp, Bream, Perch, Roach, Golden Rudd, Chub and Tench.

There are toilet facilities at this site, a hard track to the water and a easy access swim with adjacent parking. Season Permits include Mopley and Dark Lane Ponds. Night fishing restricted to season permit holders only to a maximum of 6 members per night pre booked. Day Permits: 8am to 8pm.
